Global Studies: English
Our English Global Studies course will partially follow the district-mandated curriculum SpringBoard to support college readiness and follow our state of Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS). The course is designed to not only prepare students for the State of Texas Assessment of Academic Readiness (STAAR) but also future AP courses and, ultimately, college. In addition, I will be giving class time for students to purse a project based on their individual interests or hobbies.
